WHY I DO WHAT I DO

my story

I started photography back in 2017 as a way to make extra money while in college. It had been a hobby of mine for several years prior. I did not know how much blood, sweat, and tears went into being a business owner, especially at the age of 19! I am glad I took the plunge because I was much more successful than I thought I would be over those three years.

I've taken the last couple of years off as a way to focus on graduate school and having my beautiful baby girl. I decided to start back up again as a way to earn money while staying home with her and finishing up my Master's degree in clinical social work.

My husband and daughter are my everything and drive me to do this work. I couldn't do it without them. There is no name I love being called more than "mama."

I believe it is crucial to capture the special moments in our lives so we can relive them for years to come. I believe photography brings people together and encourages us to pause and reflect on what matters most.

I believe there is irrevocable beauty in each photograph that can never be duplicated or recreated. Like a snowflake, each one is unique and a reflection of its creator.

Whether it's the serenity of enjoying coffee with an old friend, the comforting smell of a homecooked meal, or the sweet sound of children laughing, I believe the small, often overlooked moments in life are what matter most.
